Interviews
Congratulations, and welcome to our Interviews informational site! On the scheduled date of your interview, please plan to arrive by 8:00 AM. Interviews will take place at the PA Program Office on the 2nd floor of the Harkness Office Building located at 367 Cedar Street, at the corners of York and Cedar, in the heart of the Yale medical campus in New Haven, Connecticut. Your day with us will consist of:
- interviews with program faculty and other members of the Admissions Committee
- a financial aid orientation
- lunch with our current first-year students
- opportunities to sit in on a first-year lecture
- tours of the Medical School campus and instructional facilities
You should plan to finish up around 3:30 PM.
Harkness Office Building, a four-story building located within Harkness Memorial Hall, can be found on the Yale interactive campus map found here (tip: there are many Harknesses around New Haven - stick to "Harkness Memorial Hall"). The building sits on the corners of York and Cedar Streets, between the School of Medicine and Yale-New Haven Hospital. Signs will be posted throughout the building directing you to our suite.
Travel and Lodging
New Haven itself is located approximately one hour away by car from Bradley International Airport in Hartford, and an hour and a half away by car from Kennedy and LaGuardia Airports in New York. Limo services connect these airports to the Yale campus, which itself is connected by accessible Yale and city bus and shuttle services. New Haven's Union Station lies only minutes away from the school and provides convenient access by train on Amtrak and Metro North lines. Specific travel information follows.
Again, congratulations! We look forward to meeting you soon.
